Chocolate Fudge Witch’s Hat

Prep Time: 25 minutes. Start to Finish: 20 minutes. Serves 8

Ingredients:

Assorted gum drops

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 7-ounce jar marshmallow crème

6 cups cocoa puffs cereal

1 roll of fruit by the foot

Directions:

Flatten gum drops with rolling pin. Cut out moon and star and Halloween shapes than set aside

In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring frequently, until smooth

Stir in marshmallow crème until completely melted, remove from heat and stir in cereal until well coated

To form brim of hat, shape 2 cups cereal mixture into 6-inch round; place on serving platter or tray

Shape remaining mixture into a cone, 4 inches in diameter at base and 7 inches tall

Place cone on round and if desired, bend tip of the cone

While cereal mixture is still sticky, attach star, moon and other shapes

Wrap the fruit by the foot around the bottom for hatband

Break or cut pieces to serve
